Terms of service

1. General Terms

By placing an order with NMD Exports, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms govern all transactions and services.

2. Pricing & Taxes

  • Prices are ex-factory and include only basic bubble packaging.
  • Additional costs not included:
    • Packing upgrades
    • Loading/unloading
    • Transportation
  • GST Rates:
    • 18% on furniture
    • 12% on decor items
  • Taxes are mandatory and cannot be discounted.

3. Production Timeline

  • Standard production time: 45–60 days from advance payment.
  • Timelines may vary due to:
    • Labor availability
    • Raw material shortages
    • Weather conditions
    • Design changes
  • Clients will be informed in case of delays.

4. Payment Terms

  • 70% advance required to start production.
  • 30% balance before dispatch.
  • No dispatch without full payment clearance.
  • Vehicle/logistics arranged only after payment completion.

5. Packing & Logistics

  • Basic packing included; additional packing is chargeable.
  • A packing list will be provided.
  • Customers may arrange their own transport if preferred.
  • Transport costs depend on market rates at dispatch time.

6. Storage & Demurrage

  • Goods must be picked up within 30 days of completion.
  • After 30 days:
    • ₹400 per CBM per day will be charged.
  • Notice will be sent on the 28th day.

7. Product Specifications

  • Final specifications are based on the Proforma Invoice (PI).
  • Any prior documents become null and void after PI approval.
  • Changes must be communicated within 48 hours, else deemed accepted.

8. Materials & Finishing

  • Wood: Kiln/Air dried, termite-resistant.
  • Standard finish included:
    • Sealer
    • Lacquer
    • Basic polish
  • Extra charges for:
    • PU
    • Melamine
    • Deco finish
  • Fabric cost is not included unless specified.

9. Assembly

  • Some products require light assembly at client location.
  • Guidance will be provided.

10. Maintenance

  • No warranty provided.
  • Paid maintenance visits available.
  • Local carpenter support is recommended.

11. Bulk Orders Recommendation

For commercial projects (restaurants, hotels, cafes):

  • We recommend ordering extra units for future replacements.

12. Environmental Factors

  • Production may pause during:
    • Rainy weather (affects polishing/painting)
  • Work resumes once conditions are suitable.

13. Force Majeure

NMD Exports is not liable for delays caused by:

  • Natural disasters
  • Unforeseen events
  • External uncontrollable conditions

14. Jurisdiction

All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

15. Validity of Quotation

  • Quotations are valid for 7 days only.
